Trustee training course - Part 2

As you may be aware, trustees have a statutory duty to demonstrate that they have a knowledge and understanding of:

• the law relating to trusts and pensions
• the principles of funding and investment, and
• the documents of their particular scheme.

Quantum’s series of three generic courses cover all of the aspects of trustee training recommended by the Pensions Regulator, and have a strong practical focus on the day-to-day issues of a trustee. They are suitable for new trustees, experienced trustees who are in need of a ‘refresher’, and any other individuals who are involved in pensions, such as HR or Finance Executives.

There is no requirement to complete the three courses in a specific order. In fact if you are attending the course as a refresher you may only feel the need to attend one or two of the courses instead of all three. All of these courses will be repeated on a regular basis so you can just book in to the ones you think are relevant, in whichever order suits you.

Trustee training - Part 2

This course has a strong practical focus on the day-to-day issues of a trustee, and will give a solid grounding in key areas of the Regulators Code of Practice, including:

• pensions law
• strategic asset allocation
• DC funding
• DC investment choices
• fund management.

It is suitable for new trustees, experienced trustees who are in need of a ‘refresher’, and any other individuals who are involved in pensions, such as HR or Finance Executives.

The course costs £200 plus VAT per delegate, and if you register three or more delegates on the same course you will benefit from a 10% discount. To book, please fill in the attached registration form.
