Quantum Advisory offers careers in the following areas
Pensions Administration
Administration is a vital part of a pension scheme – ensuring scheme members are looked after throughout their pension journey. Pension administrators are highly skilled, customer-focussed people working in a fast-paced environment. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail are key to providing services to scheme members and trustees. We provide formal training, continuous learning, and professional qualifications including a generous Pensions Management Institute exam package.
Investment
A pension scheme’s investment strategy is a critical area for trustees and one which requires careful thought and support from highly trained advisers. The investment team helps set investment strategy, implement the agreed strategy with suitable funds, and regularly monitor and review performance against each pension scheme’s objectives. We provide on-the-job training as well as supporting study for professional qualifications.
Actuarial Consultancy
We offer Actuarial consultancy services to trustees of pension schemes and sponsoring employers. You may be working towards an actuarial qualification (full study support provided) or you may have actuarial consultancy experience and desire a new opportunity. As part of the actuarial team, based in one of our four office locations, you will work on our exciting and growing client base.
Secretariat and Governance
We provide full Secretariat services to complement our consultancy and administration offerings. Being part of a team which directly supports trustees is an interesting rewarding role. Excellent communication skills, and an ability to build relationships are a must. Candidates are usually required to be Associates of the Pension Management Institute or working towards this qualification.
Finance
The finance team delivers accounting, payroll and financial services. You will have the opportunity to work with both internal and external clients offering variety, challenge and early responsibility. You will get experience of the latest advanced accounting software and data analytical tools. We offer support towards recognised qualifications such as Accountancy (ACA) (ACCA) and Payroll (CIPP).
IT and Operations
Probably one of the most important parts of any organisation are its business-critical systems. Our IT and operations teams support the planned future growth of Quantum by maintaining the IT systems, networks and communication infrastructure and initiating and implementing improvements in all areas of IT. We offer opportunities varying from IT support to the design and coding of Quantum’s bespoke service-line solutions.
